Hi, I’m Lisa. Here are a few things you should know about Lisa Gorham Creative.

I’ve been designing for over 25 years.
I truly enjoy what I do. Creating beautiful, interesting, and unique ways to solve business problems through graphic design is a constant and welcome challenge. Plus, I have the opportunity to call some really amazing people and companies my clients. Yep, it’s a pretty good gig I’ve got. That’s why, in addition to my own work, I’m also super involved—volunteering, networking, and mentoring.

I speak American and Canadian. ;)
My gainfully employed graphic design career began back in 1992 in my hometown of Toronto (eh!). Since then I’ve worked for large and small design studios both there and in Maryland—with all kinds of clients in all kinds of industries. Now, as a freelance Creative Director/Graphic Designer/Strategic Partner, I’m continuing to build on my experiences and my work. I like to think having worked in two countries gives me an added level of perspective. At the very least, I can give you some really great winery recommendations the next time you’re traveling to the Great White North.

Process is my middle name.
(Full disclosure, it’s actually Jennifer.) Don’t get me wrong; the way I work isn’t all buttoned-down business. There’s plenty of creative experimentation and exploration in everything I do. What clients consistently tell me they appreciate most is how collaborative I am and how deeply I immerse myself in their businesses and challenges. That’s the best way I know how to develop creative, clutter-breaking, and smart solutions. To me, it’s the difference between a designer and a partner—the latter is absolutely what I always strive to be.
